Busy week.

Monday, I have abdominal pain and go to prompt care. I was afraid it might be appendicitis. Better to be safe then sorry. The doctor did some poking. Not appendicitis. More likely just strained muscles from overdoing it with the weight machines.

Prompt care did get all worried about my blood pressure. (I think they read it wrong, and) measuering it at 158/100. So then they told me see a doctor about that ASAP. So Tuesday I go to see a regular doctor. He measures my BP as 132/68. A little elevated but not serious. So they draw some blood and put me on a mild BP medication. I'm not having any unliveable side effects.

Wednesday was no big deal. (yeah)


Thursday, after work, I go to Best buy and come home with a Directv HD DVR. It's about the same cost as my other upgrade options. It's not as nice as a standard tivo, but it does serve for about 4 boxes. If I wasn't spoiled by a real tivo, it wouldn't be an issue. But since I'm spoiled ...
